Anna Prohaska über Rihms „Requiem-Strophen“
Anna Prohaska completes her Requiem-Season:
Anna appeared at the sacred music opening week “Ouverture Spirituelle” of the Salzburg Festival with Teodor Currentzis and MusicAeterna with Mozart’s Requiem. After having sung it for the only time with Claudio Abbado in Lucerne in 2012, this is the third requiem this season after the world premiere of Wolfgang Rihm’s “Requiem Strophen” with the BRSO and Mariss Jansons in Munich and Lucerne, and the “Fauré Requiem” with the Staatskapelle Dresden and Myung Whun-Chung at the Salzburg Easter Festival.
